I came across this article this weekend written for women about how to pick up men. It made me laugh. Here is the article and my rebuttal of it.

How to Pick Up Men

Who says you have to wait, batting your eyelashes and hoping that handsome guy will introduce himself? Take life by the horns and pick that man up!

Steps

1. Pick a good spot. The good old bar scene isn't for everybody! Be creative, and be shameless.
2. Flirt from a distance. Make eye contact, smile, and look approachable.
3. Start a conversation.
4. Close the deal. Right before you leave, give him your contact info, and walk away.

How to Pick Up Men Rebuttal

1. Guys, we have to be on our P and Q everywhere we go. You never know when a woman will have her eyes on you.
2. If you see a approachable woman smiling and making eye contact with you, here is your sign.
3. If she does not start a conversation, then you start one.
4. If she give you her contact info and walks away, don't follow her but do give her a phone call. Probably later on more than a few few hours would be a good time to call. You don't want to seem desperate and anxious.
